‘South Park’ writer calls for Barron Trump to be drafted to war with distasteful website

A satirical website suggesting that Barron Trump should be drafted into military service has gained renewed attention online as the United States expands its military campaign involving Iran. Reports say the site was created by a writer connected to the long-running animated comedy South Park.

The website, DraftBarronTrump.com, presents itself as a patriotic campaign encouraging the former president’s son to serve in the military. Its headline message reads like a slogan: “Service is honor. Strength is inherited. Dog Bless Barron,” using exaggerated language that mirrors typical political messaging.

On the homepage, the site claims that America’s strength comes from strong leadership and suggests that Barron would naturally be ready to defend the country his father once led. The language is intentionally over-the-top, reinforcing the site’s satirical tone.

Another section labeled “Testimonials” features fictional quotes attributed to members of the Trump family. One statement written in the voice of Donald Trump uses a style similar to his public speaking, joking that people approach him urging that Barron be sent to war because of the family’s supposed “strength.”

The website began spreading more widely on social media as the United States escalated military actions against Iran. According to reporting, U.S. officials have described the campaign as “Operation Epic Fury,” and the conflict has already resulted in casualties among American personnel.

The situation has also triggered debate in Washington. The United States Senate recently rejected a war powers resolution that aimed to stop strikes on Iran without direct approval from Congress. The measure failed to move forward after a 47–53 vote.

Local reporting has identified the site’s creator as Toby Morton, a writer and producer associated with South Park. According to the The Spokesman-Review, Morton operates dozens of political parody websites designed to mimic official messaging while criticizing political power structures.

Although Barron Trump has occasionally appeared at major events with his parents, Donald Trump and Melania Trump have generally kept their son away from the public spotlight. The site’s viral spread highlights how satire can quickly enter broader online discussions during periods of geopolitical tension and political debate.
